Rob49 was a popular YouTube personality who was known for his videos on guns and shooting. He had around 3.2 million subscribers on YouTube.
He also uploaded videos of himself shooting guns and other weapons, including a semi-automatic rifle, Uzi submachine gun, and a handgun.
On April 30th 2019, he uploaded his last video titled "Rob49 Shooting Last Video" where he shoots an AR-15 style assault rifle in front of his camera while talking to the viewers about gun control laws in the United States.
On May 4th 2019, Rob49 died from injuries sustained when he was shot by a masked gunman near his home in Houston Texas.
On June 8, 2018, a lone gunman opened fire at a video game tournament in Jacksonville, Florida. The shooter killed two people and injured 10 others. The shooter was identified as David Katz who died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The shooting took place in the GLHF Game Bar inside the Jacksonville Landing shopping complex during the Madden NFL 19 Classic qualifier. A livestream of the tournament captured audio of gunshots ringing out and alarmed screams following them.
